New work in progress, through June, in my Dates in a Life Walking Project 2021, a year-long painting documenting the number of steps I walk, and the number of flights of stairs I climb, each day.
I'm settling into my job and trying to walk during my lunch hour when I can, along the Charles River in Watertown, MA, and it's also been pretty hot so I am not walking as much as I have been previously.
I added 9 yellow dots on two days because I rode my bike 9 miles both days. Each dot equals a mile.
The black icons represent 0-9999 steps, red is 10,000-19,999, and if I walk 20,000 or more steps it's a yellow icon. The background colors represent how many flights of stairs I climb each day.
