Work in progress through March, Dates in a Life Project 2020, a year-long painting project documenting the number of steps I walked, and the number of flights of stairs I climbed, each day.
In March, I walked 10,000 steps or more (the red shapes) on 14 days as a stress reducer and/or exercise, and because it’s easier to do because the sun doesn’t go down until 7pm.
I climbed over 31 flights of stairs (the days with yellow gold paint) twice, in my two-story home.
Starting on March 13, I am now adding silver underlines for every day we’re home for the Coronavirus.
This painting is mixed media on stiffened fabric. I keep track of my steps using the Pedometer app in my iPhone.
