I'm being tortured by a Clematis that refuses to open on my timeline. I guess tortured isn't really the right word. Maybe anxious anticipation would be better at this point?
Checking past photos of my backyard installation, I see that there were no buds on August 24th, and there were hundreds on September 1st, so I guess it's not flowering on September 9th is not that surprising. It's just that the other clematis in my side yard flowered such a long time ago already, and still has flowers on it.
Hurry up Mr/Ms Backyard Installation Clematis. I'm waiting with camera in hand.
