In 2013, I was commissioned to create The Fence As Lace #14, a wider variation of The Fence As Lace #6, which I made it in 2011 while at a residency at the Vermont Studio Center, because the collector wanted a wider version that would work well in her home on the wall behind a beautiful wooden art desk, in a room full of other art.
I have learned that The Fence As Lace #14 is now on exhibit at the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton MA, in the Fiber Forward: The Judith Stern Weisman Collection.
I am looking forward to going to see it hanging there and invite others nearby to go visit this gem of a museum.
The Fence As Lace #14 is mixed media on stiffened fabric that measures 62" x 95".
