One of the finishing touches for my painting that's documenting the number of steps I walked each day in 2023 is to trim away the extra stiffened fabric on the sides, which I did yesterday. This is a picture of 2023 (with blue tape markings as reminders) next to 2022 on the wall in my studio.
After I glue on my steps for December 24 through 31, I'll remove the blue tape and trim the top and bottom, most likely leaving an extra row at the top and bottom. Then I'll be done for the year and can move on to my 2024 painting.
