I'm slowly making progress on this mixed media painting. I took yesterday off for Yom Kippur. I don't belong to a synagog so I had a day of self reflection and a mental health day at home. It was a bit odd working on a bright piece on such a solemn day but did it was raining, and I needed some brightness since there was no sun.
I pinned, but did not attach, the black stamped circles on white in the squares that don’t have the embroidered flowers. Then I painted the edges and corners of the fabric. Next, I'll sew the circles in place and put some paint in the intersections of the grid where it is now white.
