New work in my Loss series: Home Is… is a companion piece to Welcome to Our Home, about creating a home full of love (and art), which is the opposite of the home I grew up in.
This painting is mixed media on fabric and measures 31" x 29". Monoprinted and painted construction fence fabric, four round embroidered coasters, and an embroidered sampler are machine appliquéd on a larger embroidery. All of the embroideries were purchased on eBay.
