Update: Dates in a Life Project 2017

I finished printing the stamps for my new backdated painting, Dates in a Life Project 2017. I added up the steps I walked in 2017 so I knew how many stamps to print, and I printed some extras in case I miscounted.

In 2017, I only walked 10,000 or more steps a day 17 times for the whole year. Yikes! In the month of May this year (2019), I walked over 10,000 steps on 17 days. I've had a big increase in my exercise routine going from 2017 into 2018 and 2019!

The blue printed fabric in the upper left will be the background for the 2017 painting. Now that I'm finished stamping, I can start stitching the fabric and stiffen it. Then I’ll cut the stamps out of the big piece of fabric and collage them on it, to represent the number of steps each day.

2017 was a milestone birthday year for me. I’m thinking about something special to do for either my birthdate, or before, on and after. I have plenty of time to consider my options.

While I work on 2017, I'm also working on my 2019 painting, which I update once week or thereabout.
