Tweaked Sweaters part 3
I finished making my purple sweater into a cardigan from a pullover. Once again, cut the sweater front right down the middle to open it up, and I used very large black rick rack as the button holes, and black velvet covered buttons. I also decided to fold the upper part of the "collar" back, and embellish it with a small rick rack that has white and gray embroidery on it. I really like how it turned out. Not bad for an old, unworn sweater from the sale rack at Marshalls. I wore it to a 50th birthday party yesterday, and it was really comfortable. Yeah.
Other sweaters I've recently tweaked can be seen here, and here. There are some others I did a few years ago, which I will post ASAP.
