I have always liked blue glass mosaic tiles. A few weeks ago, we spent the weekend at a friend's house on Cape Cod. These tiles were used in a recently remodeled bathroom. I don't know if this influenced me or not, but I painted the small squares in the texture printed from the "Silver Hardware Net" (see my June 29th entry) as a mosaic pattern. Below is a picture of the front of the fabric:

As I started this piece, my plan was to use the back of the fabric as the main image, but I really like the black printed lines between each painted blue "tile", so I might just keep the front the front. Time will tell.
