Starting with an upcycled hand embroidery, a square construction fence pattern was monoprinted and painted in the center. Handstamped shapes and dots are added embellishments.
The handstitched lines are a visualization of real estate property lines that define a homeowners space. The monoprinted fence pattern symbolizes how I protected myself from negative family relationships.
