An unexpected ER visit thirteen days after I donated my left kidney yielded a new CT scan. I created an acrylic skin of a photo of the scan, and tiled and collaged it on monoprinted fabric that’s stiffened to appear more like paper than fabric. This painting incorporates both machine and hand stitching.
Something’s Missing measures 7.75” x 9” and is mixed media on stiffened fabric.
