I’ve always wanted to be able to wear my art, as well as
display it.
When my studio-mate, Merill Comeau, printed and painted a men’s dress shirt,
and then tailored it to fit her, I was really inspired to make something for
myself.
Tuesday night I made a sleeveless white cotton blouse with a peplum, and yesterday, I monoprinted a construction fence on it.
I’m very inspired to make some more tops, and I’m going to investigate making them for others.
