I want to thank everyone who has been in touch to make sure we're all OK here in the Boston area. Family and friends from New York, New Mexico, Seattle, and everywhere in between, have gotten in touch various ways. I greatly appreciate everyone's caring and kindness.
I'm extremely thankful that family members who live one door away from where the first bomb exploded in Boston are all fine, and that my family member who was on the subway, a few stops away from the explosions, wasn't underground below it. Sorry that the subway closed down and there was a long walk home, but ...
I'm also thankful for all the family and friends who were in Boston today for reaching out via facebook, or text messages, to tell everyone they were all OK.
