I am dropping
work off today at The Gallery at Mount Ida College in Newton, MA for a show entitled
Exponential: Four
Artists Explore Infinity.
The
show is curated by Catherine Carter. The artists in who have work in the show
are Catherine Carter, Sand T Kalloch, Nancy Natale, and (me) Jeanne Williamson.
Information on the The Gallery's website describes the the theme, "In these works pictorial and dimensional elements expand into space, viewers contemplate the relationship of parts to the whole. We become aware of our minute stature in relation to the planet and to the universe. The artworks are made of resin and paint, found-object assemblage, and laminated cloth." Read more about the show.
Exponential is on exhibit from January 29 to March 2, 2013. The Opening
Reception: Thursday, February 7, 6 to 8 PM, with a Gallery Talk to begin at
6:30 PM.
