As I mentioned on October 17th, I have work on exhibit at the Quilt Visions Gallery in San Diego, CA.
"Playing with a Full Deck", is on exhibit through January 4, 2009. The show consists of a deck of 54 quilted playing cards, including two jokers. "Full Deck" was first exhibited in 1995 by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Services (SITES). Also on exhibit at Quilt Visions, is a survey of more recent work from a selection of artists who are in the "Full Deck" show.
The photo at the top of this post is of "Orange Construction Fence Series #41," and four (out of of the seven) "Recycled Fence Series #33.
