After spending most of 2013 creating gridded paintings that are mostly symmetrical, I decided to do some work that was more abstract, though I can never not include some grids.

The eight-piece, Jumbled up Fence Photos Collage, series is created with acrylic "skins" which were created from photos taken inside a bag of jumbled up orange construction fences. They are collaged on remnants of stitched and painted monoprinted textures of construction fences, all mounted on cradled boards that measure 9" x 12" x .75".
Jumbled up Fence Photos Collage isn't the most glamorous name, but I couldn't think of an alternative.
There are also two other pieces that incorporate these same "skins, " 12 x 12 x 12 November 2013, and 12 x 12 x 12 May 2011.
