For
this month's piece, I used fabric scraps leftover from one of the sleeveless blouses I made earlier in the month. I cut small round cornered squares out of the fabric, and
collaged them on to a monoprint of a square gridded construction fence pattern. It was very
hard to photograph this piece because there are no real hard edges in the pattern.
The 12 x 12 x 12 monthly series is my monthly time to play with materials or an idea. This is my seventh year I've been working on this series. Each piece is mixed media on 12" x 12" x 1" board.
