On Exhibit: Walls and Webs
On Exhibit starting March 17: Walls and Webs, Catherine Carter and Jeanne Williamson, at the Narrows Center for the Arts, Fall River, Massachusetts, March 17 - April 17, 2010.
Mixed media works inspired by abstract lines and grids. All of the work in this show is new, not yet exhibited work. Catherine's paintings are made up of interlocking loops reminiscent of webs, and my mixed-media work consists of geometric forms suggesting walls, and abstract versions of weathered construction fences, which commonly surround buildings under construction.
The opening reception will be on Sunday, March 28th from 2-4pm.
Catherine and I will also be at the gallery on Friday, April 9th, from noon to 5, for anyone who can't make the opening, but would like to stop by, see the show, and get to talk to the artists at the same time.
Gallery Hours: Wednesday - Saturday, Noon-5 pm. Also open by appointment: call 508-324-1926 to schedule a day and time. The gallery is also open during evening performances, which are are numerous and rather exciting, in my humble opinion. Great concert lineup!
