I'm still waiting for the buds on the clematis that's growing on my backyard installation to open. Above is what they looked like on Sunday. Below is early this morning.
There are a few flowers that have opened on other parts of this clematis, but none on the part that's growing on my installation. I'd imagine that they will open any day now. The flowers on the same variety of clematis are still in bloom on a trellis about 20 feet away in my side yard. They smell like grape jelly. Very nice!
