After staring at a gifted embroidery that has been on my work table for what has felt like months but was actually only 11 days, I made a deal with myself spend a few minutes working on it before getting in bed tonight.
To try to get my creative juices flowing again, I monoprinted a square-ish construction fence pattern on the back side of the fabric, with the expectation that some of the paint will be seen on the front side. It will dry overnight, and I'll take a peek when I flip it over in the morning. This weekend, I will (try to) make some time to work on it some more.
